Kendal at Oberlin – a full-service life plan community serving older adults in the Quaker tradition, offering short- and long-term nursing services, memory care, and assisted living. Residents enjoy an independent, enriching living experience.
Responsibilities
Dusting (high and low)
Wet and dry mopping floors
Washing windows, walls, counters, doors, and baseboards
Disinfecting and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
Stripping, waxing, and buffing floors
Stripping and redressing beds
Restocking supplies
Trash removal and recycling
Qualifications and Experience
Effective oral and written communication skills
Prior experience in a health care center highly preferred
Detail oriented with basic knowledge of housekeeping chemicals, equipment, and cleaning techniques
Pleasant personality capable of cooperating with all people
Ability to walk, climb, bend, push, stoop, pull, crawl, lift, and carry weights up to 50 pounds
