Jack In The Box - Assistant Restaurant Manager
Responsible for managing restaurant operations, serving in conjunction with or in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Use discretion in daily management decisions with accountability for ensuring effective execution of the Service Profit Chain (SPC) and Brand Promise. Primary responsibilities are to provide excellent internal service, external service, and building restaurant sales and profit while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
Internal Service:
Recruit, select, train, develop, evaluate employees. Monitor staffing, ensure training systems, identify internal candidates for management, create friendly and safe environment, motivate employees, satisfy labor laws.
External Service:
Manage daily activities to achieve excellent guest experience, maintain consistent quality and cleanliness, respond to complaints, serve as role model.
Higher Profits:
Partner with Restaurant Manager to analyze performance, identify trends, devise action plans, monitor costs, protect brand, achieve financial goals.

Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year as Shift Leader or Assistant Manager; 3 years for Assistant Manager with P&L responsibility.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
18+ years, completed training, ServSafe certified, computer knowledge, valid driver’s license, ethical behavior.
Physical Requirements:
Stand, walk 85‑95% shift; lift 10‑65 lbs; operate equipment; use keyboard.
