Special Education Teacher
to support students across
Pre-K through 6th grade . This full-time, in-person role offers the opportunity to work with diverse learners in a collaborative, student-centered environment. Position Highlights Full-time Special Education Teacher position (Pre-K–6) In-person, school-based role near Nottoway, VA Competitive weekly pay Tax-free travel stipends available for those who qualify Medical, dental, and vision benefits available Supportive school leadership and collaborative team culture Contract role with strong renewal potential Key Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction to students with special education needs Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Differentiate instruction and adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies and interventions Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth Qualifications Valid Virginia Special Education teaching license or eligibility Experience working with Pre-K, elementary, or upper elementary students preferred Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Student-centered mindset and commitment to inclusive practices Apply today to join a school community where your expertise as a
