Manifest Solutions is currently seeking an Environmental Technician for an onsite position in Oologah, OK.
Perform environmental inspections within the assigned region using approved forms and methods within regulatory time frames.
Communicate deviations appropriately.
Collect data as needed to support environmental compliance reporting using approved methods.
Prepare and submit reports as assigned.
Advise and quality assure field activities in support of the assigned region to ensure compliance with environmental laws and permits.
Provide training instruction and assistance to others on the implementation of environmental permit and regulatory requirements.
Promote and enforce (see something, say something, do something) safe work practices to safeguard employees, contractors, the general public, and Company facilities.
Provide support during environmental compliance reviews.
Effectively communicate environmental compliance issues to appropriate internal parties.
Maintain all environmental documents and records in accordance with environmental content management standards.
Since a considerable amount of time will be spend driving from one asset to the other, safe driving techniques and practices are essential.
Basic Qualifications
High School diploma or preferred associate or bachelor's degree in an environmental, science, or related discipline.
Previous military experience will be considered to meet the associate degree requirement.
Minimum of three years of experience with an associate degree. At least one year of experience with a bachelor's degree. Minimum of five years of experience with a high school diploma.

State & Local Permits for Erosion & Sediment Control
Aboveground and underground storage tanks
Transportation of hazardous materials
Solid and hazardous waste management
Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures
Wastewater, storm water, groundwater, and drinking water sampling, reporting and control
Oil and chemical spill response and management
Air emissions monitoring, control and reporting
Asbestos and PCB management
Pollution prevention
Environmental site assessments
Emergency planning, and community right-to-know
Key competencies of this position are technical expertise, planning and organization ability, attention to detail, written and oral communication skills and initiative.
