[20 McMaster Blvd, Landenberg, PA 19350] . The Reading Specialist position is Full-Time, Monday-Friday. Responsibilities
Provide reading intervention services directly to students in individual and group settings Maintain progress monitoring and data to support growth of students Conduct screenings and provide diagnostic results of students’ reading levels and needs Attend IEP meetings and report on student progress Provide consultation specific to reading instruction including modeling, observations and coaching to teachers and teacher’s assistants Work collaboratively with the leadership of the schools and the student’s IEP team to provide a continuum of reading instruction Offer

is a private academic school program located in Landenberg, PA. Devereux Day Academy is licensed to serve students in grades K-12 who have been identified with primary disabilities including Emotional Disturbance, behavioral and cognitive differences. The academy also helps children with autism, intellectual disabilities and speech and language impairments. The core curriculum is aligned with the Pennsylvania Core Standards and partner school districts. The program uses differentiated instruction, evidence-based instructional strategies, and rigorous learning expectations with individualized Educational Plans (IEPs). Experience in a school teaching environment required. Experience providing specially designed instruction preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to lead group meetings and interface with internal and external stakeholders.
