Job Overview We are looking for an experienced appliance repair tech in the St. Louis, MO metro area. We are a Whirlpool exclusive service provider and only work on their manufactured brands. Top pay, bonuses, paid vacation, insurance. If you feel like your current employer is micro‑managing you and holding you back, join Diamond. We let you do your job and support you so you can do more. We don't over‑manage with tons of reports. We only work on Whirlpool brands, deliver parts to the van, and prescreen all calls.
Specific Responsibilities
Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer's home.
Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers.
Ensure efficient use of materials and keep the company vehicle and equipment properly serviced.
Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required.
Perform other duties as needed, which may include cross‑training in related positions.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
Valid Driver's License with a clean record.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Proficiency in navigating tablet‑based technology.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis and up to 100 pounds occasionally without assistance.
Physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances.
Flexible and variable hours (no weekends).
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Compensation & Incentives
$25 to $30 per hour plus incentives based upon revenue generated.
Potential for an experienced tech to earn $50,000 to $75,000.
