Entry level with basic training. Assigned to a site with minimal duties. Training Requirements

Level 1 Guard training topics: Observation and incident reporting. Communication principles. Access control. Safeguarding information. Crowd control. Traffic control and parking lot security. Basic computer skills. Expected Responsibilities

Observe, report, and assist with de‑escalation of incidents. Maintain positive public relations. Produce accurate written reports. Operate an organized and efficient guard service system. Prevent criminal acts and take remedial actions. Identify regular staff and visitors. Maintain accurate records per client requirements. Perform duties under supervision. Adhere to laws and company policies. De‑escalate conflicts with politeness. Assist the public with guidance. Coordinate with law enforcement. Oppose unnecessary personal interaction. Provide first aid when needed. Handle traffic control and issue citations. Investigate incidents within 24 hrs. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Report incidents or threats to client authorities. Investigate and identify individuals committing wrongdoing. Comply with client policies and anti‑harassment laws. Qualifications

General Criteria

– Minimum 18 yrs for unarmed, 21 yrs for armed, able to perform assigned duties. Citizenship

– U.S. citizen or legal alien. Employment verification

– Provide references in writing. Physical fitness

– Perform duties without limitation. Previous experience

– Relevant training or experience. Certifications

– Provide documentation (CPR, First Aid, etc.). Driver’s license

– Valid California driver’s license or ID card. Education

– High school graduate or equivalent; proficient in English. Health screening

– TB test, Hepatitis B vaccines, required medical exams. Drug screening

– Must pass within 6 months; test detects multiple substances. Criminal history

– No felony or job‑related crime within 7 yrs. Security Guard License

– Registered with California Department of Consumer Affairs and Bureau of Security and Investigative Services; carry the permanent registration card. Veterans
