Responsibilities

General Training & Comprehension: learn and perform job assignments of housekeeper, heavy housekeeper/floor tech, and laundry worker positions; operate and teach others how to use industrial cleaning equipment.

Leadership Development: assist in training, quality control, and in‑servicing staff per policies and federal/state requirements.

Policies & Procedures: ensure quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met.

Reporting: maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment; deliver reports to HCSG and facility management.

Training (ongoing): responsible for all training, quality control, and in‑servicing staff; tour facility to assess work quality using QCIs.

Leadership & Operations: handle payroll submission, staffing patterns, coaching, discipline, purchasing, inventory, and budgeting.

Communication: effectively communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff.

Safety: use protective gear, mix and use cleaning solutions safely, report equipment issues, follow infection control and PPE policies.

Punctuality: consistent attendance, timely completion of assigned cleaning area, respond to paging system.

Customer Experience: represent HCSG courteously and cooperatively with supervisors, co‑workers, and client staff.

Resident Experience: positive, pleasant interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications

Positive attitude with ability to follow oral and written instructions.

After training, demonstrate ability to work autonomously without injury.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Basic computer skills; maintain records and complete reports.

Must be punctual and available as scheduled.

Comply with COVID‑19 vaccination policies as required.

Physical requirements: lift/carry up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs, stand, sit, bend, walk for extended periods.

Perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.

Work around food and cleaning products.

Live in the service area.
