Responsibilities Our Manager‑in‑Training (MIT) program is a 12‑week custom interactive program that guides you through hands‑on and computer‑based training, allowing you to learn how to manage your own account in the following areas:
General Training & Comprehension – Learn and perform job assignments of housekeeping, floor tech, and laundry positions, operating and teaching about industrial cleaning equipment.
Leadership Development – Assist in training, quality control, and in‑servicing staff per policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
Policies & Procedures – Provide leadership and guidance to meet quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations.
Reporting – Maintain income, expenditure, supplies, personnel, and equipment records; deliver reports to HCSG and facility management.
Training – Responsible for all staff training, quality control, and in‑servicing to meet HCSG standards, conducting daily quality assessments.
Leadership – Handle payroll, staffing patterns, coaching, discipline, purchasing, inventory, and budgeting.
Communication – Deliver directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff effectively.
Safety – Use protective gear, properly mix and use cleaning solutions, report equipment needs, and maintain infection control and universal precautions.
Punctuality – Consistent attendance and timely completion of assigned cleaning areas.
Customer Experience – Represent HCSG courteously and cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers, and client staff.
Resident Experience – Provide positive, pleasant, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Qualifications
Positive attitude; follows oral and written instructions; performs routine repetitive tasks.
After training, demonstrates leadership skills and accomplishes responsibilities without supervision.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills for maintaining records and web‑based reporting.
Must adhere to scheduled work times and arrive on time.
Compliance with COVID‑19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, or customers.
Physical capacity: lift/carry up to 50 lbs; push/pull up to 50 lbs; stand, sit, bend, walk for extended periods.
Operate safely around food and cleaning products.
Live in the service area.
