Responsibilities
General Training & Comprehension – Perform assignments of housekeeper, heavy housekeeper/floor tech, and laundry worker positions and operate and teach others on cleaning equipment.
Leadership Development – Assist in training, quality control, and in‑servicing staff per policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
Policies & Procedures – Ensure quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met.
Reporting – Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment in required report format.
Training – Deliver responsibility of training, quality control, and in‑servicing staff, including daily assessments with QCIs.
Leadership – Handle managerial responsibilities such as payroll submission, staffing patterns, coaching, discipline, purchasing, inventory, and budgeting.
Communication – Effectively communicate directives from managers, occupants, and administrators.
Safety – Use protective gear, properly mix cleaning solutions, report equipment needs, and follow infection control policies.
Punctuality – Consistent attendance, punctual arrival, timely completion of assigned areas, and responsive paging.
Customer Experience – Represent HCSG courteously and cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers, and client staff.
Resident Experience – Maintain positive, pleasant, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and guests.
Qualifications
Positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
After training, use leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities independently.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills for maintaining records and web‑based reporting.
Reliability – Must be at work on schedule and on time.
Compliance with COVID‑19 vaccination policies.
Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand/sit/bend/walk for extended periods.
Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
Must reside in the service area.
