SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a hardworking, dependable Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas.
This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with teammates.
Job Description The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned.
Responsibilities
Perform janitorial duties and all tasks listed on the daily schedule
Operate motorized cleaning equipment
Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
Support shift lead in completing punch‑list items
Use proper personal protective equipment and present a professional appearance
Fulfill work assignments in a team with other employees
Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
Take direction and respond to supervision
Communicate professionally with lead, supervisor, co‑workers, managers, and customers
Fill in during staff shortages
Ensure a clean work area and perform repetitive tasks
Understand customer service, satisfaction, and reporting systems
Qualifications
May be required to have a valid driver’s license
Completed all safety and task training, certification
May be required to be forklift certified
Bilingual is a plus
Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and how to use cleaning compounds safely and efficiently
No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
Compensation : $15.50 – $16.50 per hour
Shifts : Monday–Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
