Job Details
Starting Date: Immediate
Pay Range: $15‑$17 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule/Hours: Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm (may vary slightly)
Location: Inside the Mesquite area school
Responsibilities
Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and maintain team accountability.
Organize and facilitate daily activities: Prepare curriculum and activities that align with program objectives, including structured fitness and educational play for all ages.
Lead by example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, using positive guidance and effective classroom management.
Prioritize safety and joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols. Document attendance, incidents, and other observations as required.
Communicate effectively: Engage with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
Requirements
Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
Background clearance completion required.
One year of experience working with children in a licensed childcare group setting.
Ability to meet state‑specific requirements.
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
Driving a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
Ideal Candidates
Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
Strong teamwork ability.
At least one year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
