Job Summary The position will serve as an administrative role in the Department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior, providing support to the psychology faculty, psychology interns, and backup administrative staff as needed. The incumbent will also support the Psychology training program.

Responsibilities

Provide psychotherapy services in an outpatient setting to the women's population

Supervise interns and group therapy sessions; coordinate activities of students, graduate assistants, and other research personnel engaged in research activities.

Compose articles for publication in scientific journals; review articles prepared by others.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. or equivalent from an accredited college or university.

Specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Training (DBT), trauma-focused, women-focused therapies.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to complete work and meet deadlines.

Willingness and ability to work with research animals.

Ability to work independently with only general supervision.

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases; willingness to learn.

Shift/Salary/Benefits Shift: Days/M-F. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint). Benefits include health, dental, life, retirement, vacation, sick leave, 13 paid holidays, and Tuition Assistance for full-time employees with more than 6 months of service.

Conditions of Employment

Motor vehicle reports are required for positions that are required to drive an Augusta University vehicle.
