Check product quality, review sell‑by dates, and take appropriate action.
Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
Report product ordering or shipping discrepancies to the manager.
Ensure proper temperatures in cases, coolers, and temperature logs are maintained.
Promote trust, respect, and a positive attitude among associates.
Practice preventive maintenance, inspect equipment, and notify management of needed repairs.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and company safety programs.
Qualifications
Outstanding customer service skills.
Desire to gain understanding of food production and basic cooking techniques.
Effective communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with urgency.
Good basic math skills.
Ability to obtain a current food handlers permit once employed.
