Base Pay Range $58,240.00/yr - $70,720.00/yr
Position Overview This position will be embedded at one of our customer facilities. MSI Viking is a leading supplier of precision measuring technologies. We are a consultative and collaborative sales and service organization. Our focus is on first understanding the deeper needs of our customers and then ensuring our products and solutions fit these needs. In addition to offering a vast range of metrology products, we provide ISO 17025-accredited calibration, dimensional inspection, and repair services. Plus, we can deliver custom-engineered solutions leveraging advanced automation and control systems, machine vision, and robotic technologies.
Responsibilities
Perform calibration and adjustments on a wide range of electronic and electro-mechanical measuring and test equipment (M&TE).
Precisely follow policies and procedures, industry standards (ISO), and manufacturers' requirements for accurate calibration of electronic M&TE.
Complete the required documentation to certify the verification and calibration of electronic M&TE.
Requirements
Working knowledge/use of multifunction calibrators to include Fluke's 5500A and 5700A series.
Working knowledge/use of 8.5-digit multimeters to include Keysight's 3458A and Fluke's 8588A.
General familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO/IEC17025 Quality Systems.
Update gage tracking software.
Good written and oral communication skills, as well as computer skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work on a team.
Availability to travel as needed.
Education and Experience.
3-5 years of Electronic Metrology experience, formal training in Metrology, or previous Precision Measurement Equipment course (PMEL) required.
Associate degree in Electronics preferred.
Basic computer skills: Windows, Microsoft Office, and data entry.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent certification required.
