Winter Mechanic – Greek Peak Mountain Resort
Pay Range Base pay range $18.00/hr – $20.00/hr. Actual pay based on skills and experience.
Now Hiring: Seasonal Mechanic Are you a skilled mechanic who thrives in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment? Join the Greek Peak Mountain Resort team as a Mechanic, where you’ll play a key role in keeping our resort’s equipment in peak condition all winter long! If you're passionate about problem‑solving, maintenance, and working in a dynamic setting, we want you on our team.
This seasonal position will begin in early December 2025.
Responsibilities
Diagnose & repair mechanical issues on gasoline and diesel equipment, including motors, transmissions, fuel pumps, steering systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.
Conduct engine rebuilds, wheel alignments, electrical repairs, and complete system diagnostics.
Maintain organized records of parts, repairs, and safety compliance.
Train other staff on proper equipment use and safety practices while following all resort safety guidelines.
Assist other resort departments with equipment needs, ensuring smooth resort operations.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of mechanical repair experience (or combination of education and hands‑on training).
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of mechanical issues.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to follow detailed safety procedures.
Physical capability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly and work in varying outdoor weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license required.
Team player with strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with other departments.
