What You’ll Accomplish As the HVAC Install Lead, you’ll be responsible for leading installation projects while ensuring quality, safety, and outstanding homeowner satisfaction.

Lead residential HVAC installation projects, ensuring work is completed efficiently, accurately, and to code

Install and replace HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, ventilation, and thermostats

Provide clear direction, mentorship, and support to installation apprentices or team members

Communicate professionally with homeowners about installation steps, system operation, and maintenance recommendations

Ensure all installations meet Hoover’s quality standards and local/state code requirements

Verify system performance and perform start-ups, commissioning, and testing

Maintain accurate job documentation, including installation checklists and required forms in ServiceTitan

Ensure equipment, tools, and company vehicle are well-maintained and organized

Assist with training and developing junior installers to build a strong, capable team

Participate in ongoing technical and leadership training

What Success Looks Like

Completing high-quality installations that pass inspections the first time

Maintaining a clean jobsite and delivering a 5-star customer experience

Leading 1–2 installation projects per day, depending on scope

Accurate system commissioning and documentation

Supporting team development and contributing to a culture of growth and accountabilityMaintaining installation callbacks below 3%

Requirements

EAP certification a plus

3+ years of hands‑on residential HVAC installation experience

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Familiarity with ServiceTitan a plus

Boiler installation experience a plus
