What needs to be accomplished:
While technical skills are essential, success in this role hinges on your ability to earn trust, communicate clearly, and deliver long-term value to homeowners.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC system issues efficiently and accurately (furnaces, air conditioning, heat pumps, ductwork, ventilation and thermostats).
Educate homeowners on system operation, recommended repairs and maintenance options.
Proactively recommend upgrades, preventative services, or improvements such air quality system
Perform thorough whole-home safety inspections (60–90 minutes per visit)
Prepare accurate service quotes and invoices using company software (ServiceTitan)
Participate in ongoing technical and customer service training to improve customer communication and technical expertise
What success looks like:
Complete 3–4 service calls per day
Achieve a 70%+ conversion rate on recommended services
Conduct comprehensive safety inspections on each call
Contribute to membership plan sales
Maintain a monthly callback rate of under 3%
Build strong relationships with homeowners and deliver 5-star customer experiences

Requirements
EAP certification a plus
3+ years of hands-on residential HVAC experience
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Familiarity with ServiceTitan is a plus
Boiler experience is a plus
