Job Description Ingram Barge
is seeking a
Welder
for our team in
Columbus, KY . Whether you are a Certified Welder, or just starting, Ingram will invest in your training and development for the next level. This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of Ingram's fleet of barges. We operate in an environment where flexibility and a willingness to take on new tasks, and responsibilities keep things interesting!
What you'll be doing:
Welding/Cutting/Fitting
Operating forklift
Operating hydraulic crane
Inspecting and pumping barges
Route dock clean up
Other duties as requested
Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstration of the Ingram Way
Ability to uphold Ingram's high safety standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Demonstration of critical thinking and decision-making skills
Ability to demonstrate teamwork and acceptance of diversity
Strong communication skills with all levels within the organization
Required Qualifications:
Possess a High School Diploma or GED
Possess a valid driver's license
Display excellent communication skills
Can walk and lift for extended periods
Can carry more than fifty pounds on a regular basis
Must be able to read and write the English language to comply with USCG regulatory requirements
