About the Role We are looking for a skilled mechanic to troubleshoot, repair and maintain a fleet of forklifts and log stackers. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems in rolling stock.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
Must pass company alcohol and drug screening test
Ability to safely troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems in a timely manner
2 years in automotive or heavy equipment repair industry
Maintains and repairs all aspects of jitneys used in mill
Able to lift/carry/push up to 50 pounds
Must have good communication skills
Examine parts for damage or excessive wear
Weld broken parts and structural members
Attend all safety and crew meetings
Preferred
Post-secondary or trade related education
LP license
Class A CDL
