Lathe/Mill Machinist
with strong skills in operating and setting up
manual and/or CNC machines
who takes pride in producing precision parts.
Pay & Schedule:
Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday–Friday
Starting at
$22–$23 per hour
(based on experience)
Weekly Pay
Quarterly Bonuses for production and attendance
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and maintain manual and CNC lathes or milling machines
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications
Select proper tooling, materials, and machine settings for each job
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
Perform machine maintenance and keep work areas organized
Troubleshoot and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve processes
Follow all safety and quality standards
Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience operating lathes and/or milling machines (manual or CNC)
Strong knowledge of machining processes, materials, and tooling
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Skilled with precision measuring instruments
Basic understanding of G-code or CNC programming preferred
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team environment
