Monday‑Friday with alternate Saturday shifts 3rd Shift: 4:00 pm – 10‑hour shifts Primary location: repair/maintenance shop, Pasadena, TX Core Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment. Estimate time and material costs for vehicle repairs and new parts. Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs). Respond to emergency breakdown service calls. Conduct safety checks on vehicles to protect employees and the public. Complete required paperwork, document parts usage, and account for repair times. Assist senior mechanics with project work and inspection reports. Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and corporate standards. Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of relevant mechanic experience. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must be over 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States. Ability to meet physical requirements or obtain reasonable accommodations. Pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical exam. Preferred Experience
Fleet engine truck service (heavy truck repair, air brakes, suspension, motors, electrical, hydraulics). Valid driver’s license. Own tools for completing work. Willingness to attend two‑week mandatory training in Arizona. Work Environment & Physical Demands
Requires frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constant standing, walking, grasping; occasional sitting and balancing. Exposure to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes. Operates in both indoor garage/shop and outdoor conditions with inclement weather, heat, and humidity.
