Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities:
Provide support to attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, hearings, and trial.
Prepare, organize, and file documents with federal and state courts, including through PACER/ECF.
Conduct legal research and assist with drafting pleadings, correspondence, and discovery responses.
Finalize legal briefs, including checking citations and preparing exhibits.
Manage case files, calendars, and deadlines to ensure timely and accurate case progression.
Coordinate large‑scale document productions and maintain databases or spreadsheets to track evidence and case materials.
Assist with trial preparation, including witness binders, exhibits, and logistics.
Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and external parties.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.
5+ years of litigation experience.
Working knowledge of filing procedures and court rules, including PACER/ECF.
Strong research, drafting, and document management skills.
Excellent communication, organization, and time‑management abilities.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Trial experience, mass tort/MDL experience, and Excel proficiency preferred.
