Summary The Quality Control Technician II is responsible for ensuring Cuisine Solutions products meet the company's food safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
Shift Hours 7am-330pm or 3pm-12am
Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a restaurant, food industry, or sanitation company
Ability to demonstrate the values of honesty and integrity, respect for others, teamwork and collaboration, accountability and performance
Ability to perform comfortably in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment
Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in MS Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to successfully complete Cuisine Solutions Food Manager Certificate, HACCP training and sous vide training
Exposure to sous‑vide food industry production audits, good manufacturing practices, and other food safety standards a plus
Education
High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent combination of education and experience
Job Responsibilities
Conduct quality control inspections and document controls
Conduct employee inspections for personal hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Collect samples for laboratory or sensory testing
Perform equipment calibration as established by the QA procedures
Identify and investigate non‑conformities
Serve as the point of contact with the USDA Inspector and follow up on any requests, coordinating any resulting actions
Assist with training new QA and production staff
Work on specific technical projects, including but not limited to training and special inspections
