We have an outstanding career opportunity for a

Quality Control Technician

to join a leading Company located in the

Sterling, VA

surrounding area. The Quality Control Technician I is responsible for ensuring our products meet the company's food safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Conducts and documents quality control inspections/controls.

Conducts and documents employee inspections for personal hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Collects samples for laboratory or sensory testing.

Performs equipment calibration as established by QA procedures.

Responsible for identifying and reporting non-conformity to the QA Manager or QA Supervisor.

Basic Hiring Criteria

High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications

Ability to demonstrate values of honesty and integrity, respect for others, teamwork, collaboration, accountability, and performance.

Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency in MS Office.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to successfully complete Cuisine Solutions Food Manager Certificate, HACCP training, and sous vide training.

Work experience in either a restaurant, the food industry, or a sanitation company is a plus.

Exposure to sous‑vide food industry production audits, good manufacturing practices, and other food safety standards is a plus.
