We have a mission that matters!**Description of Work**A successful candidate for this Regional Maintenance Electronics Technician (Electronics Technician II) position, shall have journeyman level experience in the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of electronics systems, equipment, and machinery; be able to work independently to complete work assignments received by a supervisor; read and interpret blueprints; and perform other assigned duties.**Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences**Salary Range: $43,738-$76,542Pay Grade: NC11Management Preferences:* Demonstrated experience in the installation, programming, testing, and troubleshooting of head end control equipment used with class A loop building fire alarm life safety systems, internet and phone communication systems, tool control systems, video surveillance systems, electronic and pneumatic security control systems, perimeter security systems, AND / OR building automation systems.* Demonstrated experience in the installation of low voltage conduit and circuitry for class A loop building fire alarm life safety systems, internet and phone communication systems, tool control systems, video surveillance systems, electronic and pneumatic security control systems, perimeter security systems, AND / OR building automation systems.* Demonstrated experience with standard test equipment to diagnose electronic components.* Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.**Minimum Education and Experience**Some state job postings say you can qualify by an “equivalent combination of education and experience.” If that language appears below, then you may qualify through EITHER years of education OR years of directly related experience, OR a combination of both.
