Job Description
Setting up, troubleshooting, and operating CNC machining centers.
Haas experience a plus.
Assisting engineering with process development, process improvement, and fixture design.
Depending on individual’s previous experience, some use of Mastercam may be required as well.
Works closely with the Department Lead, Operations Manager, Production Coordinator, and other machinists as a team.
Following all Quality Management procedures and processes and work with quality personnel to determine best suited inspection processes when applicable.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area and the cleanliness of the machines or work areas as assigned.
Assist with overall area and facility housekeeping activities.
Assist with maintenance and repair of equipment in your assigned area as needed and requested.
Working towards the achievement of defined personal goals established with management.
Request resources and guidance as needed from management in the achievement of these goals.
These stated duties and responsibilities may change from time to time based on the ever changing needs of the organization, its customers, and staff.
Qualifications and Skills
3-5 years of recent experience in the setup and operation of CNC mills, with "above average" competency.
Excellent troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
Is dependable and possesses a high level of integrity.
Takes initiative, works and communicates well with others.
Respectful attitude towards others.
Possesses strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Has deep understanding of GD&T.
Familiar with First Article and In-process inspection and documentation.
Familiar with the requirements of ISO 9001 / AS9100 Quality Standards or willingness to learn.
Is a good communicator in both oral and written forms.
Excels in a team environment and works well with others.
Is able to work in a fast-paced, small company environment.
Has basic tools of setup/operator machinist, or willing to purchase within 90 days.

Pay Range $24.10 - $34.85 per hour.

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
