Machinist

This is a full-time on-site role for a Machinist based in Memphis, TN. The Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of machinery to produce precision parts and instruments. The role entails reading technical drawings, ensuring accurate measurements, maintaining high-quality standards, conducting machine maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment as necessary. The Machinist will also adhere to safety protocols and collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently.

Qualifications

Proficiency in operating and maintaining lathes, milling machines, and other industry-standard equipment

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics

Experience in machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspection for quality assurance

Strong knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in a manufacturing or machining environment

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and cutting materials

Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors effectively

Previous experience as a machinist or manufacturing technician preferred

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in machining or a related field is a plus
