Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanic located in Gaylord, MI. The Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and machinery. Additionally, the role will involve conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing technical issues, troubleshooting, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Collaboration with the operations team to address mechanical issues in a timely manner will also be essential.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair tasks
Experience working with Heavy Equipment and machinery
Ability to effectively diagnose and solve mechanical problems through Troubleshooting
Strong understanding of safety protocols and adherence to industry standards
Relevant certifications or technical training in mechanics or a related field
Good communication and teamwork skills
Previous experience in construction or industrial environments is a plus
