CNC Operator – 2nd or 3rd Shift
Milacron is looking for a CNC Operator to join our team in Mount Orab, Ohio.
Available shifts: 2nd (3pm-11pm) or 3rd (11pm-7am). Training will be completed on 1st shift (7am-3pm).
Work You'll Do
Set up and operate the grinding machine according to project specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints or design schematics to understand project requirements.
Select and install appropriate tools and equipment needed for the grinding process.
Adjust machine settings to control speed, material feed, and path of the cut.
Monitor the machine while it's running to ensure proper functioning and prevent errors or malfunctions.
Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on the machine to ensure its longevity and safety.
Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the grinding process.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
1+ years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical instructions and read blueprints.
Experience with precision tools such as gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
Basic math and computer skills.
