CNC Machinist | Otsego, MI
Salary Range: $50,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machinery (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.).
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
Perform in-process and final inspection of manufactured parts using precision measuring instruments.
Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation or part quality.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols.
Recommended Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience operating 3-axis or 5-axis CNC mills and/or lathes.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
Expertise in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
Demonstrated ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machinery, including tool changes and offsets.
Strong understanding of quality control processes and part inspection techniques.
Basic knowledge of G-code and M-code programming for editing and troubleshooting.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM)
Proficiency with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparator)
Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles
