Supervising Attorney
to lead our
Class Action Department . This is a
fully remote position
open to candidates licensed in California and based in the Los Angeles area.
Position Overview As Supervising Attorney of the Class Action Department, you will oversee a team of attorneys and staff handling complex class action litigation across employment, consumer protection, and related practice areas. You will guide strategic decisions, ensure case excellence, and mentor attorneys to strengthen the firm’s class action practice.
Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and mentor attorneys and paralegals in the Class Action Department
Oversee case strategy in class action and PAGA matters, from investigation through trial or settlement
Manage high-value cases involving wage and hour, consumer fraud, and other large-scale claims
Review, edit, and approve pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, and settlement agreements
Direct complex discovery, including electronic discovery and expert witness coordination
Handle mediations, settlement negotiations, and contribute to trial preparation when necessary
Develop and implement litigation strategies that align with firm goals and client objectives
Provide ongoing training and support to junior attorneys to promote professional growth
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active California Bar license in good standing
5+ years of complex litigation experience with a strong background in class actions
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience required
Proven track record in handling wage & hour, PAGA, consumer, or employment class actions
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between [$200,000 – $250,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
