Minimum Teaching/Experience Requirements: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or Information Technology, or a Master’s Degree in the same field, or a related field that includes a minimum of 18 hours of graduate work in Computer Science or Information Technology. All degrees must come from regionally accredited institutions. Strong consideration will be afforded to candidates who exhibit a demonstrated record of professional experience and success in undergraduate teaching and to those capable of structuring and implementing distance‑education courses.

Job Description
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science invites applications for part‑time or adjunct faculty openings in the following subject areas. These positions are especially suited for candidates who hold a terminal degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or who have completed a minimum of 18 hours of approved graduate coursework in a relevant field. Excellence in teaching and learning within a rigorous and stimulating environment is a core value of The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. The Department is strongly committed to undergraduate teaching, and part‑time faculty are expected to meet and uphold departmental and university standards.
