Sargeant Reynolds Community College, Division: J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College (Div). Work Location: Richmond, VA. Hiring Range: Salary commensurate with education and experience. Position type: Part‑time, Telework options subject to change. Scope: Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves the capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. Reynolds is currently seeking adjunct instructors to teach a variety of Nursing courses, including classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction. To assist with the credentialing process, please indicate on your application or resume whether each position held is/was a full‑time or part‑time position. Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor. KSA's/Required Qualifications

Baccalaureate degree with a major in Nursing earned from a nationally accredited college or university and a current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in Virginia. A minimum of two (2) years of full‑time employment in nursing or its equivalent within the past five (5) years. Additional Considerations

Master’s degree in Nursing earned from a nationally accredited college or university is preferred. A minimum of two (2) years of recent teaching experience in a nursing program; demonstrated ability to teach effectively in both the didactic and clinical settings, including course development, student assessment and course evaluations is also preferred. Ability to incorporate technology routinely into instructional and faculty responsibilities, curriculum development, use of multi‑media teaching strategies, and test construction. Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with a diverse student and faculty population. Operation of a state vehicle: none. No employees supervised. No required travel.
