Responsibilities
Teach assigned engineering courses in accordance with curriculum guidelines.
Develop course materials and assessments.
Utilize instructional technology, including Canvas LMS.
Provide instruction in online or hybrid formats as required.
Assist the agency or state government during emergency declarations by the Governor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Engineering, or Master’s with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Engineering.
Related occupational or teaching experience at the college level, including occupational‑technical, community college, or university‑college transfer courses.
Demonstrated skill in course development and online instruction.
Ability to communicate with and work effectively with multi‑cultural populations, supporting diversity, cultural understanding, and inclusion.
Additional Considerations
Knowledge of instructional technology applications such as Canvas LMS.
Experience in college‑level courses (occupational‑technical, community college, or university‑college transfer).
Online course instruction experience and/or training.
Other Requirements
Operation of a State Vehicle – No supervisory responsibilities.
Travel: No required travel, but travel among Reynolds campuses and partner sites may be needed.
