Patient Service Representative
Peachtree Immediate Care has an immediate opening for a Patient Service Representative at our Crawfordville location. This full‑time position requires three 12‑hour shifts with a rotating weekend shift and the flexibility to float between Crawfordville, Thomasville Road, Lake Ella, North Monroe, and Tennessee Street.

We are looking for someone who is caring, courteous, and efficient, detail‑oriented, with strong interpersonal skills, capable of performing basic medical procedures while maintaining confidentiality.
Peachtree Immediate Care centers are open seven days a week from 8 am to 8 pm and provide walk‑in care for injury, illness, and minor emergencies as well as family care to keep both parents and children healthy.
Basic Function Responsible for providing the Perfect Patient Experience: greet patients, create and manage appointments, update patient and insurance information in the computer system, verify health insurance benefits and eligibility, and explain payment policies and billing/collection processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Greet, register, instruct, discharge, and provide general assistance to patients.
Obtain demographic and financial information and enter the computer system.
Verify insurance eligibility and relay relevant information on payment policies and billing/collection processes.
Determine and collect co‑pays, co‑insurance, deductibles, past‑due balances, and other patient financial responsibilities, and maintain and balance the cash drawer.
Answer the telephone promptly, manage virtual messages, and return voicemails.
Perform clerical tasks as required.
Ability to multitask.
Open, sort, and screen mail.
Assure the readiness of the facility each day.
Assist patients with the required processes, e.g. CCPA, Self‑Pay, Out of Network, etc.
Perform all duties mentioned above with a warm, outgoing personality, excellent telephone etiquette, the ability to work under pressure, and accurate, efficient work.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and with patients in a high‑paced facility.
Reliable transportation to commute to assigned regional offices.
Ability to work all shifts including day, evening, and weekend hours as needed.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Detail‑oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Working Conditions Works in clean, well‑lit, heated, and air‑conditioned areas. Exposure to unpleasant sights, smells, and infectious diseases is possible. The work schedule depends on department needs and current staffing patterns. Holiday and weekend work as necessary.
