Patient Service Representative - LaGrange, GA
Peachtree Immediate Care has an immediate opening for a Patient Service Representative at our LaGrange location.
Peachtree Immediate Care is a leading urgent care operator in the state of Georgia. Our mission is to provide the perfect patient experience so our patients can “Get in. Get out. Get better”. We are looking for a caring, courteous and efficient individual who is detail‑oriented, has strong interpersonal skills, performs basic medical procedures, and maintains a high level of confidentiality.
Responsibilities
Greet, register, instruct, discharge, and provide general assistance to patients. Obtain demographic and financial information and enter the computer system. Verify insurance eligibility and relay relevant information on payment policies and billing/collection processes. Determine and collect co‑pays, co‑insurance, deductibles, past‑due balances, and other financial responsibilities; maintain and balance the cash drawer. Answer the telephone promptly, take virtual messages, and return voicemails. Perform clerical tasks as required; multitask; open, sort, and screen mail; assure daily readiness of the facility. Assist patients with processes such as CCPA, Self‑Pay, Out‑of‑Network, etc. Work accurately and efficiently, maintaining a warm, outgoing personality and excellent telephone etiquette under pressure. Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and with patients in a high‑paced facility. Reliable transportation to commute to assigned regional offices. Availability for all shifts, including day, evening, and weekend hours. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Detail‑oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills. Works in clean, well‑lit, heated, and air‑conditioned areas. Exposure to unpleasant sights, smells, and infectious diseases is possible. The work schedule depends on department needs and current staffing patterns, including holidays and weekend work as necessary. Additional Information
