Key Responsibilities
Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine project requirements.
Inspect finished welds to ensure quality, integrity, and adherence to industry standards.
Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
Prepare metal surfaces by grinding, cutting, or cleaning prior to welding.
Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment as needed.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
Demonstrated knowledge of welding safety protocols and best practices.
Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX) or equivalent demonstrable skill.
Experience working with various metals, such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Bonus Qualifications
Forklift certification or experience
Experience with a variety of welding processes (e.g., TIG, Stick, Flux-core)
Basic fabrication skills (cutting, grinding, fitting)
Ability to perform minor equipment maintenance or troubleshooting
