About the Role
LHH is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join a respected Orlando law practice on a long‑term contract assignment extending into 2026. This role requires a strong background in workers’ compensation matters and the ability to support attorneys in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented environment. This position is fully onsite and is
not hybrid or remote .
Responsibilities
Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys handling workers’ compensation cases
Draft, proofread, and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and filings
Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and hearing schedules
Manage case files, organize documentation, and assist with discovery
Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Perform data entry, billing support, and other administrative duties as required
Qualifications
2+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably with workers’ compensation matters
Strong knowledge of Florida workers’ comp procedures and document preparation
Proficiency with legal case management software and Microsoft Office
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work fully onsite in Orlando on a long‑term contract assignment
