Customer Service Representative
Location:
Remote (Available in select states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia)
Schedule:
Full-Time – Monday‑Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST / 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM CST
Pay:
$16.00 per hour

December 22, 2025
Contract‑to‑Hire Opportunity
Key Responsibilities
Answer inbound calls and emails promptly, providing exceptional customer service.
Document all call information according to standard operating procedures.
Assist customers with questions about products, services, and general inquiries.
Process orders, route calls to appropriate resources, and follow up as needed.
Complete insurance verification to determine eligibility, coverage, and deductibles.
Obtain pre‑authorizations when required and submit documentation accurately.
Navigate multiple EMR systems to review and enter pertinent information.
Communicate with management regarding trends or issues with insurance carriers.
Contact patients when documentation does not meet payer guidelines and provide options to facilitate the referral process.
Qualifications
1+ years of call center experience (healthcare or insurance preferred, but not required).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a quiet workspace.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Experience in healthcare or medical terminology is a plus.
