Licensed Master Social Worker / Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Hawthorn Children’s Psychiatric Hospital is seeking a full‑time clinician for our Inpatient Treatment Program. Using the Sanctuary Model, we promote healing, safety, and nonviolence through trauma‑informed, responsive care.
Responsibilities
Provide individual, group, and family therapy to children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 admitted for mental disorders and trauma.
Conduct case management and support treatment teams in a multidisciplinary setting.
Work primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with flexibility for family treatment sessions, possibly one evening per week.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
Valid Missouri licensure (LMSW or LCSW) or commitment to obtain licensure during employment;
Experience with evidence‑based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma‑focused approaches preferred.
Ability to provide licensure supervision, if applicable.
