Responsibilities
Recruit, hire, train, supervise, manage, develop schedules and assure adequate resident care department staffing 24/7 according to PSL policies, procedures, and standards.
Establish and maintain a medication system which adheres to state, federal, and company laws, regulations, and guidelines including maintaining accurate documentation, training resident medication assistants, communicating with physicians, pharmacies and responsible parties.
Work collaboratively with all Peregrine team members, service providers, residents, and their families to ensure the highest quality of care and lifestyle, including coordinating and providing therapeutic interventions from move‑in, through discharge, via developing and educating all care staff on individualized resident service plans.
Lead the Resident Care Department within budget and according to PSL policies, procedures, and standards, maintaining adequate resident care supplies.
Act as a liaison for all aspects related to resident care within the community as the Director of Resident Care.
Education & Experience
A registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, or licensed vocational nurse licensed to practice as required by state regulations preferred.
Case management experience preferred.
Experience and knowledge in all aspects of senior living, including assisted living, memory care, and enhanced assisted living preferred.
