Talent Development Expert - Hiring Top Legal Talent for Leading Law Firms | Legal Recruiter | Employment Law Paralegal About the Role A well-established California employment law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Law Paralegal to support attorneys in plaintiff-side employment matters. This is a 100% remote position, open to candidates located anywhere in California.
Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with FEHA, ADA, FMLA, wage & hour, wrongful termination, retaliation, and harassment matters
Draft and file pleadings, discovery requests, and responses
Manage cases from intake through trial or settlement
Coordinate depositions, mediations, and court deadlines
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Maintain case files and calendars using California court rules
Assist with trial preparation and document management
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a paralegal in employment law (plaintiff or defense)
Strong knowledge of California employment laws and procedures
Experience with California state and federal courts
Excellent drafting, organizational, and multitasking skills
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Paralegal certificate preferred but not required
Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $70,000 – $100,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
