We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized receptionist to join our team in Metairie, Louisiana. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a welcoming and detail-oriented environment.
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
- Perform accurate data entry tasks to maintain and update records.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
- Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling and correspondence.
- Organize and maintain the reception area to ensure a clean and functional workspace.
- Assist with showroom operations, including facilitating client interactions and supporting sales staff.
- Utilize Microsoft Word and other tools to create and manage documents as needed.
- Support additional tasks such as shipping coordination or assisting with inventory, depending on business needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and address any challenges proactively.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in receptionist or front desk roles is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and familiarity with other Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize workload effectively.
- High attention to detail, particularly in data entry and record-keeping.
