We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized receptionist to join our team in Metairie, Louisiana. The role requires a proactive individual who can manage front desk operations efficiently while providing exceptional support to clients and team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a welcoming and detail-oriented environment.
  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Perform accurate data entry tasks to maintain and update records.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
  • Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling and correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain the reception area to ensure a clean and functional workspace.
  • Assist with showroom operations, including facilitating client interactions and supporting sales staff.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word and other tools to create and manage documents as needed.
  • Support additional tasks such as shipping coordination or assisting with inventory, depending on business needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and address any challenges proactively.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in receptionist or front desk roles is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and familiarity with other Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize workload effectively.
  • High attention to detail, particularly in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Comfortable working in a customer-facing role with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Basic knowledge of administrative processes and office equipment.
