Position Summary What you’ll do—apply Walmart and Sam’s Club policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans because of the Open Door Policy.

Operate forklifts safely and according to company standards and guidelines while picking, moving, placing and positioning merchandised pallets.

Complete work assignments and priorities using data and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines and expectations; carry out tasks, communicate progress, and recommend improvements.

Receive, organize and manage inventory flow from distribution centres and suppliers, maintain in‑stock levels and control shrinkage, use inventory tools, and complete required documentation.

Provide member service that acknowledges the member, identifies needs, guides technology self‑service, assists with purchasing decisions, resolves issues, and promotes Walmart products and services.

Maintain facility safety by running sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, adhering to steel standard guidelines, reporting unsafe situations and ensuring safety compliance.

Keep the sales floor and merchandising presentation in line with company policies, zoning the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out‑of‑date goods, setting up displays, maintaining modular integrity, staging and delivering merchandise, and managing promotional and seasonal displays.

Process defective merchandise, follow sanitation and food‑safety policies, monitor shrink and security risks, and perform club pick‑up orders, audits and staging of orders.

Operate and maintain forklifts safely, identify technology needs, assist customers, model best practices, identify shrink opportunities, maintain equipment, and correct problems promptly.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification.

Ability to safely use pallet jacks.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

Customer Service Experience.

Retail Experience.

Experience supervising a team.

Compensation

Hourly wage range: $19.00 to $27.00.

Premiums: $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
