Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school-based setting located in Oakland, CA. Both full-time and part-time candidates are encouraged to apply, with caseload options currently open for two SLP positions. This role runs from as soon as possible through the end of the school year, providing the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' communication development.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.

Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress and facilitate inclusion.

Maintain accurate documentation and caseload records in compliance with school and legal requirements.

Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as needed.

Qualifications

Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), preferably with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).

Experience working within a K-12 educational environment.

Strong knowledge of speech and language development principles and intervention strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.

Ability to manage caseload efficiently and prioritize responsibilities.
