Role Overview We are seeking a

Technical Recruiter

with a strong background in manufacturing and engineering industries. This role is ideal for someone passionate about connecting highly-skilled technical professionals with companies where they can make a difference. You’ll play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end recruitment process—from client intake to candidate placement—while representing the Sky Limit Systems brand with integrity and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively source candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals, and Boolean searches

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of manufacturing and engineering talent, including CNC machinists, quality engineers, design engineers, and aerospace professionals

Screen and evaluate candidates for technical skill sets, cultural alignment, and long-term potential

Conduct initial interviews and coordinate technical interviews and assessments

Partner with clients to understand hiring goals, culture, and technical requirements

Write compelling job descriptions tailored to specific client needs

Deliver timely and strategic updates to clients on search progress and candidate feedback

Negotiate offers and support candidates through the offer and onboarding processes

Maintain accurate and organized candidate and client records in the ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, Bullhorn)

Provide clients with market intelligence, salary benchmarking, and competitive hiring trends

Attend industry events, career fairs, and virtual networking sessions to grow talent communities

Represent Sky Limit Systems with professionalism, industry knowledge, and empathy

Qualifications

3+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 1 years focused on manufacturing or engineering roles

Demonstrated ability to fill complex technical positions

Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, CNC, CAD/CAM systems, or engineering principles is a plus

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Proficiency with recruiting tools and applicant tracking systems (e.g., Bullhorn, Greenhouse)

Experience working with aerospace or defense contractors is a plus

Technical education or strong understanding of engineering disciplines is preferred

Previous experience in a boutique or specialized recruiting agency is beneficial

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, self-directed environment with high autonomy
