Position Summary Provide service and maintenance on residential and light commercial oil, propane, natural gas, air conditioning/heating systems, and boilers to company standards, ensuring a high‑quality customer experience.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair oil & gas, boilers, furnaces, heat pumps, rooftop units, and air conditioning systems.
Test system performance and make necessary adjustments.
Keep accurate records of all work performed.
Be available for nights, weekends, and emergency service on a rotating basis.
Maintain company vehicle, including refueling and reporting mechanical issues.
Maintain proper stock of parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
Work independently and with teams.
Communicate with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
4+ years of HVAC experience.
Experience with oil systems.
Proficient in using tools and equipment for HVAC work.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
Boiler installation experience a plus.
Good communication skills with dispatch and customers.
Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas, oil, propane, electric heating/air conditioning systems, heat pumps, ductless systems, and boilers.
Good understanding of all HVAC low‑voltage systems.
Basic hand tools proficiency.
Pay Rate Up to $45.00 + per hour based on experience. Salary: $46.00 per hour.
