Gathering Operations Supervisor

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and schedule the commissioning of new pipelines and gathering infrastructure to meet forecasted deadlines.
Responsible for reviewing pipeline access during the constructions phase to ensure pipelines can be accessed and maintained appropriately.
Responsible for budgeting and scheduling regular maintenance of the access roads. Review and sign off on operations invoices according to the Delegation of Authority limit.
Responsible for arranging personnel to provide inspection of excavations, perform coating inspections of buried pipe during excavation, review HDD plans.
Manage the tasks and assignments of the field area supervisors and pipeline operators to ensure proper service and maintenance of pipeline facilities including the annual valve maintenance and record keeping for greasing and partial operation, oversee trouble shooting of minor issues through greasing, flushing, and adjusting stops.
Provide day to day oversite for regular area maintenance, which may include environmental conditions, right-of-way inspection, and inspection of slip repairs.
Responsible for the overall performance of the contractors to ensure they meet the company’s expectations and provide quality service at competitive prices.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least eight (8) years of midstream related experience.
At least five (5) years of industry related supervisory or management experience.
Core Competencies
Advanced knowledge of pipeline construction and excavation.
General knowledge of pipeline coatings and cathodic protection (CP).
Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. and use/operation of standard office equipment.
Moderate project management skills to meet forecasted deadlines and budgets.
Ability to provide forecasted costs and manage an associated budget.
Ability to mentor, guide, and develop the team.
Safety Sensitive Related
Ability to safely operate vehicles, equipment, and tools.
Able to recognize and apply safety processes and procedures.
Possess valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR) that meet Company’s Insurance qualifications to operate Company vehicle.
Supervisory Responsibilities This role will have supervisory responsibilities over the field area supervisors and Pipeline Operators. Supervises two (2) or more Full-Time Employees regularly.
Responsible For Regularly Making Decisions And/or Recommendations Concerning
Mentoring/ongoing training.
Setting or adjusting work hours.
Plan, appoint, and direct the work.
Recommend advancement, promotions, or other changes in status.
Handle complaints/grievances and disciplinary issues.

Both Office And Field Related
Job is performed in both the office and in the field work environment.
Approximately 80% in the office and 20% in the field.
This Position May Be Subject To
Exposure to computer screens and requires regular use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.
Extreme Cold and Heat: temperatures typically below 32 o F or above 100 o F for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions as wind, rain, snow, and humidity.
Hazards: includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to chemicals, combustibles, explosives, etc.
Hours / Shifts
Regular business hours.
Available for on‑call rotation and responsibilities on weekends and holidays for urgent issues or emergencies during off hours, as needed.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
Minimally lift, push, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Regularly be able to bend, stoop, crouch, etc.
Usual field site/location visits may present more strenuous exertion than office work.
Minimal amount of traversing through challenging terrain to perform work, evaluate sites and conditions, inspect equipment/assets, etc.
Travel Approximate amount of time: Minimal (under 25%); Regularly (25% - 75%); Frequent (more than 75%).
Minimal travel may be required to other locations.
Regular travel to Company’s field operations and/or offices. Approximately 20% of time in field.
Approximate overnight travel is 5%.
