Travel Nurse RN ED – Emergency Department (Hilo, Hawaii)
Pay Range:
$95,472.00 - $111,914.00 per 13‑15 week assignment.
Duration:
13–15 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts.
Job Description We are seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses for a contract assignment in a fast‑paced emergency department. The ideal candidate thrives in a high‑acuity, team‑oriented environment with rapid patient turnover and a strong focus on patient safety and quality care.

Unit Details
28‑bed Emergency Department
4 trauma bays
2 behavioral health rooms
22 cardiac monitoring rooms
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all acuity levels
Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and prioritization of care
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergent conditions
Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely care
Accurately document patient care using the electronic medical record system
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
Active Hawaii RN license required by assignment start date
Candidates without an active license must apply upon offer acceptance
Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
Certifications
BLS/BCLS required
ACLS required
PALS required
Preferred (not required): Procedural Sedation, TMCC, EMPC
Equipment & Systems
EPIC electronic medical record (EMR)
Additional Requirements
Must arrive Thursday prior to assignment start to complete employee health requirements on Friday
